This film was produced on a low budget for Skillset, an organisation supporting the UK’s creative industries. The body is crucial in providing access to training. Their Academies scheme is a great success but we wanted to raise awareness amongst employers and academic institutions, as well as students. Our Chairman, Stewart Till was instrumental in making the project happen and helping with creative ideas and casting. The film was shot at Pinewood Studios and stars Noel Clarke (Kidulthood, Adulthood, 4321, Dr Who) playing three versions of himself. It was a technical challenge but a very enjoyable shoot. As well as Directing the film Steve Barron also wrote the script. It was great to work with the Emmy Award winning Director of Photography Mike Eley (Touching the Void, Notting Hill) who operated the camera on this shoot.
