Our team is a mixture of in-house crew and freelancers. Below are some people you might meet on our shoots.

  • Mark Lucas - Founder and Director

    Mark worked closely with Tony Blair on three election campaigns. He's worked on major campaigns with business and political leaders including Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, Bill Gates and Richard Branson. He has over 20 years experience as a director, been on the jury of the New York Film Awards and lectured on communications at the London School of Economics.

  • Ben De La Riva - Creative Director

    Ben has shot films all over the world for big brands and not for profit organisations. Ben’s background is in editing, where he has worked on films and TV commercials for leading directors. Recent projects include Inside Random House and Glenlivet.

  • Gareth Williams - Director

    Gareth has directed films as varied as a 30 minute documentary, to a two minute cinema commercial and music promo. Coming from a music background he is also a versatile editor and has a wide range of skills and experience across a variety of projects. Recent projects include promotional films for private companies and big brands.

  • Steve Barron - Director
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Steve has directed ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, ‘Mike Bassett: England Manager’ and ‘Treasure Island’ with Eddie Izzard. He is a legend in the pop promo world, directing Dire Straits' ‘Money for Nothing’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ and Aha's ‘Take on Me’ (Best Director - MTV Awards). Michael Jackson called him a genius, and we would agree.

  • Stephen Hopkins - Director
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Stephen is a prolific director in TV and feature films. His credits include Californication, House of Lies, Lost in Space, Predator 2, Blown Away and the Life and Death of Peter Sellers. He also produced and directed several episodes of the first season of 24.

  • Dominic Minghella - Writer and Director
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Dominic is a script writer, director and creative advisor. He has written TV shows such as Doc Martin, Hamish Macbeth and Robin Hood, as well as being a BBC script mentor for up and coming young writers. He is now working as a feature film director.

  • Simon Bisset - Director
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Simon has a background in Documentary Production. He has directed for several major TV channels including Channel 4 and Discovery. He has an eye for detail and a sympathetic interview style that really gets the best from people. He has worked on a diverse range of projects for us ranging from a film on alzheimers to political engagement.

  • Statten Roeg - Director
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Statten has a background in major TV dramas such as ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘Ring of Fire’. He has a thoughtful style combining a strong intellect with a unique visual style. He has worked with us on several projects including a short film starring David Harewood – better known as head of the CIA in ‘Homeland’.

  • Bex Rycroft - Director and Script Supervisor
    (non-exclusive basis)

    Bex is a prolific director and script supervisor working on series’ including My Family, Green Wing, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, The Mighty Boosh, Peep Show, Armstrong and Miller, and Come Fly with Me. She was also script supervisor on Four Lions and she directed Lee Nelson’s TV series.
